About Still Life
Collecting old and new items of interest that I can include in my still life pictures means that my studio gets quite full!
Sometimes it’s about having the right book, or manuscript etc to fit with the picture to give it character.
These types of pictures are great if you want to gift a painting to a friend with an obvious hobby or interest.
I can work with what you have available to create the still life composition that works for you.
I have commissioned nine paintings from Dianne, mostly miniatures, all to celebrate family events, births, big birthdays, weddings etc. Dianne is exceptionally good at personifying the paintings, through research, objects, plants, flowers and artefacts carried out with beautiful meticulous painting and use of colour. These paintings are treasured throughout the family.
